NBA Refs Need To Be Fined

Enough is enough! NBA refs need to be held more accountable.

Techs Vs Celebrations

Too many times they have cost the player and teams the game. The most recent event last night with star Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was ejected in the 3rd quarter vs the Detroit Pistons. Giannis drove to the paint, dunked on a Detroit defender and was ultimately ejected for this picking up his second technical foul. with the call and sat in the stands for a brief second.

Jayson Tatum Vs Draymond Green

Jayson Tatum Star forward for the Boston Celtics, was playing defense vs the Oklahoma City Thunder and received a reach-in-foul, clapped and afterwards received an technical foul. Tatum was in astonished by the call. Tatum may have also been simply frustrated in himself, he was shooting 1-8 from the field and just had missed a layup on the other end. Compared to Draymond Green, a known hot head, Draymond can be seen yelling at officials and holding up the game and not receiving an tech.

Accountably

Too many times Officials have controlled of the game. The last NBA ref that was actually fined was over 10 years ago. The proposal NBA players and coaches should make is have a senior official at every game or on standby that can overrule the call at any time. Also, if the call is wrong the refs should be on a 3-strike system and after the 3-strikes, and  they should be fined accordingly.

Coaches

Recently, Memphis Grizzles head coach, Taylor Jenkins, was fined 25k for public criticism on NBA officials. The Grizzles inly has 2 wins on the season and is off to a slow start. Memphis star forward Jarren Jackson Jr. was also ejected from the game.
