Caleb Willimas is now the guy for the Chicago Bears

 The Trade

The Chicago Bears traded former starting Quarterback Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers,7 days ago for a 6th round draft pick, opening the door for Caleb Willimas.  Fields had an 10-28 record with the Bears and led the team in rushing yards every year he was a starter. Fields now goes to Pittsburgh and looks to compete for a starting job or back up Russel Wilison

 Caleb WIlliams

With Justin Fields now traded, the Bears looks to move in and take Caleb WIlliams number one overall in the draft. WIlliams recently just had his pro day and continued to impress NFL scouts with multiple representatives from the Bears origination including General Manger Ryan Poles and Head Coach Matt Eberflus.

Talent/Future

The is no doubt Williams can play but is he ready? Williams the 22-year-old born in Washington, DC standing at 6'1 and 255 pounds. WIlliams has thrown for about 10,000 yards in his college Carrer and only 14 interceptions. WIlliams also a Heisman Trophy Winner and has broken many accolades at USC. Only problem that has come up about Caleb WIlliams is his attitude or ego, can he fit with the system or just be another quarterback for the Chicago Bears.

Target Players at the NFL Cobine for the Chicago Bears

The NFL Combine is here, top college athletes from all over show off their physical abilities and show why NFL teams should take them in the Draft. There is no lack of talent in this year draft combine with high profile players in each position group.

Who Should the Bears look for?

There has obviously been a lot of talk around what the Chicago Bears will do with the number one pick. However, the Bears still need a defense, their target should be the defensive line. One Player is Laiatu Latu ,  Latu an defensive end that played for the UCLA Bruins and the Washinton Huskies.  Latu standing at 6'5  265 pounds, he recorded 24.5 sacks and 100 tackles over 4 years in college. I see the Bears taking him in the mid to late 2nd round to add depth and speed to the D line.

   Safety Help

The Bears now need a safety after releasing veteran Eddie Jackson. One guy that should be on the Bears radar is Kamren Kinchens. Kinchens a 21-year-old from Miami, FL, played college ball for University of Miami. Kinchens recorded 11 picks and over 50 tackles at Miami. He can easily become an aggressive but smart safety the bears desperately need.
