The Bears Should Not Take Caleb Williams First

The Chicago Bears don't need him. The Bears 3rd year quarterback, Justin Fields is the guy. It has not looked good in Chicago, and everyone knows it. Bears are projected to have the 1st and 2nd pick in the 2024 NFL draft, and everyone seems to think Caleb Williams should go first. 

The Chicago Bears 

The Bears traded their number one pick last year for star wide receiver DJ Moore.  The Bears traded for a receiver they desperately needed and, it was a sign that they weren't giving up on Justin Fields. Fileds, put in a sticky situation to start his career, but with the right coaching staff this guy can be a beast. Going back to DJ Moore, the connection with him and fields has been amazing and it's not something I think that should be messed with. 

The Bears have huge struggles on their defense, and I think that should be the main focus. Either they use that pick on defense or trade away again.  The Bears also have an history of not developing quarterbacks as well so why waste more talent.

Caleb Williams 

No question this guy is a stud! Former Heisman winner, and is in the race this year, Caleb Williams is a electric quarterback for the USC Trojans. Originally, started his Collegiate career at the University of Oklahoma   but struggled early and was ultimately beat out by Spencer Rattler. Willaims would soon transfer to USC and light it up. Throwing for over 4,00 yards and over 40 touchdowns and sits 18th ranked in the nation and sits at a record of 6-1.

 

 

Colorado is the most overrated team in college football

What's going on in Boulder, Colorado? The Colorado Buffaloes has dropped 2 in a row. Coming off losses too two powerhouse teams the Oregon Ducks and the USC Trojans. The now unranked football team looks to be in extraordinary trouble. 

Ducks' vs Buffaloes

    It was over before halftime. The ducks got out to a 35-point lead in the second half and never looked back. There O-line and D - Line looked dominant for Oregon. Bo Nix throwing for 276 yards and 3 TD while Shedeur sanders only threw for 159 yards and 0 touchdowns. The Ducks showed they were the better team right from the start and the buffaloes had no chance. Head coach Deon Sanders seemed pretty optimistic about the lost and encouraged other teams that this is a good time to beat them. 

    

 USC vs Buffaloes 

Colorado once again showed its early struggles, going down to a 34-14 lead by halftime. It looked to be another blow out but the team hanging in there with the final score being 41-48. Shedeur Sanders had and much improved game throwing for 375 yards and 4 touchdowns. It was still no match for Heisman trophy winner Caleb WIlliams throwing for over 500 yards and 6 touchdowns. Deion was proud of his team effort and looks forward to the team next match at Arizona state. 

Where is Travis Hunter?

It is important to mention that Colorado was out their best player on the field, Travis Hunter. Hunter an all-around stud, that plays both sides if the ball and his impact is incredible. Travis hunter has multiple offensive touch downs for the team and 9 solo tackles in 1 pick. Without this kid on the field Colorado is going to be in huge trouble. Hunter suffered a liver injury in the Colorado state football game. Hunter has been out since but is looking to comeback vs Arizona State.
